Comment devenir un philosophe professionnel?

Cet atelier s’adresse aux étudiants diplômés de philosophie qui aspirent à une carrière académique en philosophie. Les participants à cet atelier seront amenés à réfléchir à l’organisation et la rédaction d’un travail de thèse, à la soumission d’un résumé pour une conférence, à la présentation orale de leur travail, à la rédaction d’une demande de subvention, à la rédaction d’un article de philosophie, à avoir une présence sur internet et aux moyens de la maintenir à jour, à la façon de présenter conjointement un CV, un rapport de recherche et un dossier de candidature, à la recherche d’un emploi dans l’académique, ainsi qu’à l’enseignement au niveau universitaire et au service professionnel. Ce semestre, l’attention particulière sera mise sur les présentations orale et les possibilités de financement d’un postdoc.

How to become a professional philosopher?

This workshop is intended for graduate students and postdocs in philosophy who aspire to a professional career in academic philosophy. In this year's workshop, participants will, among other things, reflect on how to present their work in scientific presentations and will learn about funding opportunities for young researchers at the FNS.

Important: All participants must register on the CUSO website. The CUSO will reimburse the train tickets (2nd class, half price tickets) for PhD students at the four CUSO universities (Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, and Fribourg).
