Job description
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Zurich invites applications for one 2-year postdoc position (70%) as part of the SNF-research project The Varieties of Inquiry
directed by Prof. Dr. Anne Meylan and Dr. Benoit Gaultier.
Salary: 73'500 CHF (gross) per annum
Requirements
· PhD in philosophy, preferably in epistemology and/or philosophy of law. The successful candidate is expected to have defended their PhD by the time they take up the position.
· Willingness to write and publish excellent papers on the nature, aims and norms of legal inquiry, in the context of the SNF-research project The Varieties of Inquiry.
· Willingness to work in a collaborative research environment and to take an active part in ZEGRa’s and the department’s activities (seminars, workshops, etc.)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is not required but may be an advantage.
