The University of Zürich Department of Theoretical Philosophy is hiring a position within Prof. Dr. Anne Meylan’s Chair in Theoretical Philosophy at either:
- postdoc (60%, 1+3) or:
- PhD level (60%, 4 years).
The successful candidate would be working in epistemology, normativity, and/or rationality. They would be expected to contribute to research of the ZEGRa research group (https://zegra.ch) and undertake some teaching in theoretical philosophy
The position will commence in September 2025, and the ability to teach in German is highly desirable.
The University of Zürich offers generous funding to PhD students and postdocs for research visits abroad.
Postdoc Position
One year, with the possibility to extend for a further three years upon successful performance review.
PhD position
four years, supervised by Prof. Dr. Anne Meylan.
