Philosophers Across Time

Impossible Philosophical Discussions

Have you ever imagined what Descartes would have said to Gorgias? Or what Frege would have thought about Deuleuze’s deterritorialization? Or if Nietzsche would have loved Lewis’ concrete possible worlds?

With this immersive theatrical experience, you can witness that! This performance aims to present some philosophical discussions that have never taken place (and maybe you wish they did!).

The Concept

Attendees will be provided with a list of philosophers’ names each written on an individual piece of paper. Two people at the time can pick one piece of paper each. We will then perform an imaginary philosophical discussion between these two figures.

The performance will be followed by a discussion of the main philosophical topics appearing on stage.
