PhilPublica
PhilPublica is a portal that collects articles by academic philosophers that have appeared in German-language media. It visualises in one central location how diverse the media presence of philosophy is on topics that are also of interest outside the academy.
PhilPublica was conceived by a working group set up by the two major philosophical societies, the DGPhil and the GAP.
How?
PhilPublica initiative promotes philosophy in the public sphere. Among other things, PhilPublica organizes workshops on philosophy journalism.
PhilPublica links to the original publication or broadcasting locations of each article. The result is a growing virtual archive of published philosophy that can be searched for keywords and names. PhilPublica thus also functions as a database of publicly active philosophers and their topics.
