    Thematic focus

Philosophie.ch presents a newly compiled list of thematic focuses. There you find our article series on topics like animal ethics, transhumanisme, health, and human and nature. The thematic focuses encompass a variety of articles of different authors from different fields.
If you would like to curate a thematic focus yourself, please contact us.

    Philosophieren...

The series of talks "Philosophieren..." takes place once a month, always on alternate Sundays, at the Alpine Museum of Switzerland, the Dampfzentrale Bern or the Schlachthaus Theater Bern.
Inspired by current stage plays or exhibitions, questions are raised and controversies opened up with the help of a story or a thought experiment - for children (from four) and adults alike.
Read the latest contribution to the series, "Was ist normal?" here and find out more about the project and the upcoming events here.

    Projects

    Wimmelbuch

The Swiss Association of Philosophy Teachers at Secondary Schools has carried out a project on the question of how philosophy can be translated into pictures. The Bernese publishing house vatter&vatter and Philosophie.ch, the network platform for Swiss philosophy, are involved in the project. The project includes workshops in which image concepts for philosophical questions are developed in collaboration between image designers, philosophers and experts in the publishing industry and then graphically realised. Between the workshops, the interim results are made available online to other interested experts via Philosophie.ch for peer review. The results will flow into a prototype for a philosophical picture book.
More information on the project and the latest contribution entitled "Was weiss ich?" can be found here.
