Philosophie.ch sponsors the following three prizes for philosophy students at the USI (2023-2024), presented by Dr. Philipp Blum, Managing director of Philosophie.ch at the awards ceremony of the USI on the 10th of December 2024.
- Prize for the best Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy: Awarded to the student who during the academic year 2023-24 finished the Bachelor in Philosophy with the highest average grade. Amount: 300 CHF.
- Prize for the best Master's degree in Philosophy: Awarded to the student who during the academic year 2023-24 finished the Master in Philosophy with the highest average grade. Amount: 300 CHF.
- Prize for the outstanding Master's thesi(e)s in Philosophy. The discussion of the thesis has to take place between 18th September 2023 and 15th September 2024. Decisions will be made by 20 October 2024. Amount: 100 CHF.
To apply for the Master's thesis prize, please send an email to info@philosophie.ch by 16 September 2024, by clicking the button below. Please include the following information:
- Your Name.
- Title of your MA thesis, supervisor, date of submission of the final version.
- A short abstract. in the language of the thesis and in Italian, if possible.
- A brief, evaluative description of the thesis by your supervisor (+/- 100 words), pointing out its strong points and with an overall evaluation in prose: what makes your thesis "outstanding", why should people read it? Please make sure that your supervisor agrees with this evaluation being made public.
