The Bachelor in Philosophy is a three-year degree that offers a complete and balanced education in all areas and traditions of philosophy, with a wide choice of courses ranging from the history of ancient to contemporary philosophy, from theoretical to practical philosophy, from continental to analytic philosophy. The Bachelor is in Italian.
The Bachelor in Philosophy is characterized in particular by the continuous interaction between professors and students, thanks to small class sizes, and by the international prestige of its teaching staff, which comes from some of the best universities. In addition to the classic path in philosophy, four interdisciplinary paths are offered (philosophy and literature, philosophy and theology, philosophy and communication, philosophy and economics). This allows you to maximize professional opportunities by continuing your studies in other areas as well.
To obtain the Bachelor in Philosophy it is necessary to achieve 180 ECTS obtainable in a period of at least 3 years of study. The program is offered by the Institute of Philosophical Studies (ISFI), Faculty of Theology of Lugano (affiliated with USI).
