Jens Pier (pier-j)
I am a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Leipzig. My work focuses on metaphysics, the philosophy of self-consciousness, Kant, Wittgenstein, and the prospects for a critical philosophical methodology.
I also have a long-standing interest in questions surrounding social ontology, epistemic injustice, the philosophy of death, the meaning of skepticism, and the history of philosophy from the 19th century onwards.
